While often\r\ninhabited by fictional figures, their glowing,\r\ngrooving, self-produced songs draw from personal\r\nobservations: intimacy (both inside and outside the\r\nband), toxic behavior, drug use, and apocalyptic\r\ndread. When recording started, they noticed a shift\r\nand leaned in, jokingly dubbed \"evil Tops,\" says\r\nPenny. \"We're always kind of seen as a soft band or\r\nlike naive or friendly in a Canadian way, but we\r\nmade it a challenge to really channel the world\r\naround us.\" Through the lens of a looming epoch\r\nand the clarity that comes with age, Tops dip into a\r\nmore sinister disco realm with Bury the Key, giving\r\ntheir soft-focus sophisti-pop a sharpened edge.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Alliance Entertainment","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":54754490974546,"sku":"2804297847030","price":9.8,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/1097\/1820\/8850\/files\/4437589-3408471.jpg?v=1789634554","url":"https:\/\/u31jvi-vq.myshopify.com\/products\/tops-bury-the-key-green-yellow-vinyl","provider":"My Store 2","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
