Multiple-horns, multiple rhythms, and multiple players. This album is a straight-up instrumental attack, where the only voice you hear is the collective force of these eight players hitting all original cuts live and off the floor. Polyrhythmics are not trying to emulate or recreate something that has already been done. This is not \"retro,\" or \"throwback;\" this is music being made together, today in The Now. The raw, fresh and genuine sounds captured on Libra Stripes are an instrumental testament to the universal groove and appeal of funk and afrobeat music.\r\n\r\nBen Bloom- Guitar\r\nJason Gray- Bass\r\nGrant Schroff- Drums\r\nNathan Spicer- Keyboards\r\nLalo Bello Percussion\r\nScott Morning- Trumpet\r\nArt Brown- Saxophone\r\nElijah Clark- Trombone\r\n\r\nRecorded and Mixed by Mel Dettmer at Aleph Studios in Seattle, WA\r\nAdditional Tracking at Rezin Tooth Studios, Oceanside Studios, and Blue Mallard Studios, Seattle, WA\r\nAdditional Tracking by Jason Gray and Nathan Spicer\r\n\r\nMixed by Mel Dettmer and Jason Gray\r\n\r\nDigitally remastered for 2022 release by Doug Krebs at Doug Krebs Mastering\r\n\r\nCover art: Danilo Omwisye\r\nLayout by Mason Hastie\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Alliance Entertainment","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":54763891720530,"sku":"3686754695933","price":11.2,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/1097\/1820\/8850\/files\/4413530-3336990.jpg?v=1789726612","url":"https:\/\/u31jvi-vq.myshopify.com\/products\/polyrhythmics-libra-stripes-blue-vinyl","provider":"My Store 2","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
