Thirty years on, it sounds as vital as ever - a testament to the fearless vision that went into its creation.

At a time when DJ culture was still writing its own rules, Sasha and John Digweed pushed against the grain. Drawing on sounds discovered during early trips to America - from Rabbit in the Moon to Future Sound of London - they built something that prioritised atmosphere over dancefloor convention. DJ Mag panned it on release. History changed their tune.

Northern Exposure Redux marks the 30th anniversary with a definitive reissue of both original mixes. Northern Exposure Redux South includes classic tracks by Dope On Plastic, Pete Lazonby, and a newly recreated version of ‘Dark And Long (Dark Train)’ by none other than Darren Emerson himself. It also includes a download code for both the North And South mixes, as well as the individual tracks.

Tracklisting:

Dope On Plastic Wave Dub

Drum Club Sound System (Underworld Mix)

Castle Trancelott The Gloom

Pete Lazonby Wave Speech (NE Edit)

Evolution Phoenix

The Light Dusk

X-Tracks Plan 94 (The Voyage)

Mellow Mellow I Cant Stop (Parrot Trance)

Banco de Gaia Heliopolis (Eedupolis Dog Mix)

Humate & Rabbit In The Moon East (Opium Den Mix)

Darren Emerson Dark And Long (Dark Train) (2026 Remake)

https://u31jvi-vq.myshopify.com/products/digweed-sasha-and-john-northern-exposure-redux-south-blue-vinyl
